Welcome!
I’m Angela Konin, LCSW (she/her)
I am pleased to offer affirming, trauma-informed, and collaborative care that empowers clients in identifying and working toward therapy goals which hold their unique gifts and strengths at the center. I am passionate about working with clients from many backgrounds and experiences, and I call upon previous experiences as an educator and a birth worker to support my clinical work. As a neurodivergence-affirming therapist with lived experience, I bring authenticity to my work with neurodivergent folx (ADHD, autism, learning challenges, gifted, twice-exceptional, etc.) and their families seeking to better understand and accept the way their brains work, building upon strengths and minimizing areas of challenge. I am additionally well-suited to issues involving reproduction (fertility, pregnancy, loss, birth, postpartum), sex, sexuality, and identity; parenting; those related to chronic illness; and body image from an anti-diet perspective. With a creative and compassionate approach and through an intersectional lens, I am committed to maximizing individual autonomy and dignity while helping clients improve self-understanding and navigate healing and growth.
I offer individual therapy for children through adults, support for families of complex kids, and comprehensive assessment for autism and ADHD (for ages 17 & up).
